Hognostications: Week 8

News Washington Commanders

Thank you, Seahawks for making the Skins nation’s weekend complete. Talk about pressure on a deadline and not much time to research. The Hognosticator is on his way out the door with a wife in labor to deliver his first child, a son sure to bleed burgundy and gold. So forgive the short picks and lack of research. Maybe it’ll improve last week’s .500 mark.

Minnesota at Carolina
The Vikes got lucky last week at home. It won’t happen again this week on the road.
Pick – Panthers

Green Bay at Cincinnati
Key injuries to the Pack and a disheartening Bengal loss last week to the Steelers equal a Cincy victory.
Pick – Bengals

Arizona at Dallas
Wouldn’t it be nice if…
Pick – Pukes

Chicago at Detroit
This is one of the tougher picks of the week. Detroit wins a close one with the home field advantage being the difference.
Pick – Detroit

Cleveland at Houston
This week the Texans get off the snide. At least they better; they won’t have a better opportunity.
Pick – Texans

Washington at New York Giants
The Gnats should have lost last week and won’t be as lucky this week.
Pick – Redskins

Jacksonville at St. Louis
The Rams showed something last week in a comeback against the Saints. The Jags defense dominates this week.
Pick – Jaguars

Oakland at Tennessee
The ‘who cares’ pick of the week. Sure, it could be the Browns at the Texans.
Pick – Raiders

Miami at New Orleans
Baton Rouge will be rockin’.
Pick – Saints

Kansas City at San Diego
The Chargers will make up for their collapse against Philthy.
Pick – Chargers

Philadelphia at Denver
It should be interesting to see if Philthy can shut down the vaunted Bronco running game, like they did LT last week.
Pick – Broncos

Tampa Bay at San Francisco
Easy pick.
Pick – Bucs

Buffalo at New England
The Bills continued to let the Hognosticator down last week.
Pick – Patriots

Baltimore at Pittsburgh
Give the points here. Should be an old fashioned butt whoopin’.
Pick – Steelers

Last Week’s Results: 7-7
Season To Date: 61-41
