Hog Blog with Adam Carriker – Week 12

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for. Just to be born in the greatest country on Earth is a huge blessing. I am thankful for my great family, a great job and a very blessed life.

Because of this being Thanksgiving week and we have people visiting, this blog will be shorter. As I promised last week, we came out last Sunday, played hard and played much better and came out with a hard fought victory against a very good Tennessee Titans football team. I have never been apart of a game like that before in my life. It seemed like guys were getting injured right and left. I think that pulling out a victory despite all the injuries just shows our team resilience and determination to come out and show what kind of team we really are.

This week we take on the Minnesota Vikings. I know they have been struggling this year, but they are still a very talented team, and I personally look forward to playing against Brett Favre. With a new coach this week I’m sure they will be rejuvenated and fired up to play this week, much like the Cowboys have been since they got their new coach. I can’t wait to play.

Once again Happy Thanksgiving and I look forward to seeing everyone this Sunday at the game.

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” – John F. Kennedy
