Welcome to a new segment at THN called the Cupcake Moment of the Match. THN and Confections Cupcakery have teamed up to bring you a delicious new blog. Each week, we will pick the sweetest play of the game by a Redskins player and award them the THN / Confections Cupcake moment of the match award. That player can walk into Confections any time that week and pick up ALL THREE of that week’s flavors of the week. Pretty sweet all around!
We will try and tweet the player who wins to make sure they know that they’re the winner!
The first recipient – and winner of the first Cupcake award – is Niles Paul.
For that beautiful end zone fade for a touchdown. How sweet was that? What’s it been, about a decade since the Redskins completed one of those? Or even tried to? Feels like it.
Paul also enjoyed his best game as a Redskin, and was the team’s leading receiver with 8 receptions and 99 yards.
Niles can come into our location at 12801 Galveston Court in Manassas, and pick up his cupcakes of the week – which this week are Coffee, Black Bottom, and Snickerdoodle!!
Congratulations to Niles, and we hope to see him this week in the store, and we hope that he will consider sharing them with Coach Gruden – the offensive guru that called the fade in the first place.
