Ryan Kerrigan had a franchise record 95.5 sacks in his ten years in Washington. He had a whopping 13.5 against the Philadelphia Eagles alone. But next year, Kerrigan will be registering sacks for Philadelphia, not against them.
Less than a day after saying goodbye to the Washington faithful on Instagram, the 32-year old veteran said hello to his new team on Instagram – the Philadelphia Eagles.

The words, “Fly Eagles Fly” coming out of Kerrigan’s mouth seems almost a blasphemy. Not that anyone denies him earning the right to do as he likes.
Did getting to play against Washington twice have any bearing on Kerrigan deciding to go to Philadelphia? Any bad feelings?
“No, not at all,” Kerrigan said, told John keim of ESPN. “I’m not like, ‘Oh, I’ve got to get revenge.’ Get revenge on Washington? The place has been so good to me. No, that wasn’t a thought at all.”
Washington fans won’t get a chance to say a proper farewell until the second last game of the season in Week 17 when Philadelphia come to Fed Ex Field.
Thanks for ten good years Ryan.
