After this week’s announcement that he was once again a semi-finalist for the Hall of Fame, it seemed like a good time to run a Joe Jacoby wallpaper. Perhaps if everyone puts it on their phone – stares at it daily, and use up all our wishes – it can finally be willed into existence.

After all, he may be the greatest NFL lineman that is not currently in the Hall Of Fame.

The Hogs

There is currently only one Hog in Canton, Ohio. Russ Grimm.

Jacoby was the starting left tackle on the original Hogs – along with Grimm, George Starke, Mark May and Jeff Bostic. They were at that time, the biggest offensive line in the NFL.

Jacoby played his entire 170 game career for Washington from 1982 to 1993. He played at both tackle positions, as well as at right guard.

You can read all about why he should be in the Hall in yesterday’s article, Jacoby Named Semi-Finalist For Hall Of Fame Induction

So without further ado, here is a mobile friendly 1080×1920 wallpaper for you.

You can read even more, on Jacoby’s Profile Page. Like that Jacoby only got the tryout because the legendary Joe Gibbs thought he was a defensive lineman.

Be sure to check out The Hogs Quotes page too. There is a great quote from Jacoby on John Riggins.
