2023 NFL Scouting Combine Results: Running Backs

By Mark Solway | March 6th, 2023

The NFL Scouting Combine is one of the most anticipated events of the offseason – for the teams and for the fans. It has become an integral part of an NFL team’s evaluation process. The running backs will join the offensive linemen for Sunday workouts. The Commanders picked up a pretty solid running back in the draft last year when they selected Brian Robinson Jr. in the third round.

Check back here daily for results from all the on-field drills.

Of Note

There was some great performances in the final group of the Combine.

Bijan Robinson did nothing to diminish his value as one of the absolute best prospects of this year’s draft. Some have him in their top five.

Devon Achane blazed a 4.32 to grab the bragging rights for top 40-yard dash in the group.

Chase Brown ran a 4.43 and looked great in all of the drills. He edged out his brother Sydney (safety) by just 4 hundredths of a second. The two brothers who played for the Fighting Illini, will both hear their names called early in the NFL Draft. Sydney would look great in the burgundy and gold of the Commanders, as they definitely need to bolster their secondary in this year’s draft.
