I’m not artsy craftsy… I’m not good with a needle and thead – as a matter of fact, I don’t think I have ever used them except on skin – but my boy’s first cognizant Redskins football game required something drastic – something memorable.
Many moons ago at Redskins training camp, I met a friend – and I met him because his little boy was running around in the cutest pair of Redskins overalls that I had ever seen. His mom made them for him. Jackson was the happiest kid at Redskins Park that day, and probably because he looked the coolest.
So fast forward ten years to this past week. I’m sitting there trying to think what I can do for Tommy that will make his first Redskins experience a special one. The overalls spring to mind. Read More
