People may not remember exactly what you did

they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Where's all the naysayers from the game thread when the skins win? They must be rooting for their real, favorite team, the Cowboys @ 4:15...

The things that irk me about this team were still present today.
But, this week, they came with a tangible effort and grit and fight that ... if they showed that EVERY week, I wouldn't take the losses as poorly.
I'll take errors of comission over errors of omission every time.
But, well done, Redskins!
BTW, on that "put Portis on IR" comment -- take it one step further.
Put him to the curb.

Our LB's are bad ass. Macintosh is playing lights out, and I am so fired up about RAK. D-line played OK today...gave up too many big rushes. O-line played outstanding against a fairly good D...pass-pro was excellent. Davis and Yoder played well. Thomas showed great effort and Randell el does so much away from the ball. Our secondary looked poor. Betts and Cartright should start the remainder of the season...push Portis to IR. Sellers played outstanding. Campbell played pretty poor. He was given a ton of time and consistantly overthrew or was off target to receivers.
Don't get caught sniffing the kitty litter. We still need a GM and an overhaul of this program.

Most have already pointed out all the good…Levi, Betts Orakpo…I want to also give a big ups to the fans,,,The 12th man showed up yesterday…I haven’t heard the stadium sound like that in a while. So to those of you who came out and cheered (and those you cheering at home, you’re no less of a fan!) thanks. Different feel at the game yesterday, the Skins dispensed many VP’s yesterday. I was ask a few times how my game day experience was going…As luck would have it I got an on-field pass and it was great to see the side lines lined with military personnel Kudos to Snyder for being on the sideline and mingling with them!! My point is I know we need some change and while I don’t always agree with our FO…I do think they get it. In speaking with one of the VP’s I told them I believe much good will come from this year. I told them it shouldn’t take this to get them to threat the fans better, but much is learned during times of adversity.
As for supporting our team…I’m glad there have been no protest, yea I saw some signs and Tees. I’m talking about things like Cleveland, I know the two fans who are organizing the walkout tonight. While I respect then I don’t agree…there are many things in life worth protesting…football ain’t one of them IMO. As I told those two the team is watching and taking names…I know because I’ve been supporting our team thought this thought time and yesterday they let us know how much they appreciate it…

I disagree with the above opinions. Practicing losing is always harmful, be it preseason or the last game in a losing-record year.
Fan speculation on the calculus of losing to gain draft picks, losing now to improve chances of winning later etc., has so little chance of matching reality that there's no point in hanging on to it — especially at the expense of hoping your team loses on Sunday. You have to have a God's-eye perspective even to make the argument, not to mention cheering for your team to lose.
Ask the Lions how losing in order to get high draft picks goes. The Patriots, Colts, and Steelers never get to pick high in the first round anymore. I can't imagine how they expect to maintain any success.
If Danny and Vinny are such idiots that an 8-8 year would make them think we were only one step away, then a 3-13 season isn't going to help us any more. Whatever marginal advantages a 3-13 season confers on the team, they will find a way to screw it up. I don't know why people assume they will get smarter and learn how to manage an organization just because we lost a bunch more games. Much better then, IMO, to cheer for the Redskins to win, game in and game out.

Well put, IB.
I can't say I haven't danced with the very notion that you're pointing out here, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I can't help that every Sunday from when I wake up until 12:59p, the minute before kickoff, I hope that this is the week the Redskins turn it around!
And damn it, for the moment, they have. And I'm glad that I had high hopes for them and they pulled it out. Yes, I was upset when we spotted Denver 14 pts, but just like last year vs the Eagles, we prevailed.
